We love a day out on Moonlighting. Arrive in the morning at 9:30am and get trained then you’re ready to set off for the day. Aboard you will find everything you need for cooking up a good breakfast to entertaining on deck. Comfy seats and chairs that can be moved to where you need them. Sit and relax aboard or bring a bike and race the boat on the towpath. Cruise as far as Honeystreet or turn a little earlier and enjoy a slap-up meal at the Bridge Inn in Horton. Bring a picnic and spread blankets beside the canal and watch the world relax for a while. Be back at Devizes wharf for 5:30pm.

There is space aboard for your coolbox and washing up facilities, crockery, cutlery mugs and glasses (and a toilet too of course)…. basically everything you need for a day out. Life jackets are available for everyone and dogs are welcome aboard for free!

You don’t have to cruise for the whole day and are welcome to return your boat at anytime, but the price is for the entire day or part thereof. If you want to use Moonlighting for a team building exercise, please contact us and we will see if we can help!

Moonlighting has been extremely popular this year and nearly every weekend day has been booked a long time in advance. There are a few week days still available for this season which ends at the end of October. To avoid disappointment, you can book online now for 2020.

Due to the popularity of Moonlighting we have plans to purchase a second Dayhire boat at Devizes Wharf… I’m thinking we should call her MoonDancing
